August 2006 Show

The 40th Annual Show and Fete was held at the Village Hall and Playing Field on Saturday 12th August 2006. It provided a wide range of entertainment and attractions for the the large crowd of all ages that attended. The main item was the Open Show of Flowers and Vegetables organised by the Village Hall Committee. The other items were organised by several village clubs and organisations.  The show is provided for public entertainment and for the benefit of the Village Hall Fund.

As always the event was well organised and, fortunately, the weather was cloudy and breezy, but dry at least!

The following photographs provide snap shots of just a few of the displays and items on offer.
